What are Literacies?
Often thought of as reading & writing, literacies are ways of understanding, communicating about and acting upon our evolving understandings of ourselves and our worlds. Print Literacy is one example of a literacy. Reading people, composing and reading visual arts are other examples.
At Linked Literacies, parallels are drawn between how we navigate, use, and apply our knowledge of multiple literacies to understand, learn from and learn with each other and our world.
