A M.A.P. Facilitator Training

A M.A.P. is a research developed, community created Model for facilitating online Adult discussions of Picture books.  Not simply for educators & librarians, Dr. Norsworthy's research suggests that adult discussions of Picture Books enrich adults at all ages and stages of life. Discussions were found to provide a space for connection in these polarizing times. The print version of A M.A.P. is available for community and educational use through our community resource- The Picture Book Project. 

Processing Grief Through Picture Books Facilitator Training

90 minutes

Created in the aftermath of a local mass shooting - this guide was created to support conversations to process grief.  The Processing Grief Through Picture Books Conversational Guide is designed to support caregivers in supporting the processing of grief through reading, looking at & discussing picture books.  The guide can be found, and downloaded for free, at, The Picture Book Project.
